SWEETFULL Portable Neck Fan Review

The SWEETFULL neck fan stands out among the many other devices with the very low noise emitted—less than 31 dB due to the improved built-in brushless motor.

It is a bladeless fan, adopting the typical headphone design to be used hands-free during any outdoor or indoor activity—cooking, camping, grilling, walking, running, exercising, driving, etc. In the review below, I share my personal impressions and experience with the cooling device.

The SWEETFULL neck fan, like most bladeless neck fans, adopts the typical headphone design, and is meant to be worn around the neck. This is a great advantage, because whether you want to relax with a book on the terrace or go jogging, your hands remain free.

In the picture, you can see the shape and size of the air inlets and outlets. The neckband is flexible and made of rubber (TPU). You can move both ends apart and close to fix the device comfortably on the neck. You can also twist the two ends to adjust the direction of the cooling airflow.

The operation with the fan is simple and easy. There is only one button located on the right end of the bottom side. Pressing the button, you select the desired speed and turn on and off the device. Next to the button is the charging port.

The wearable fan comes in 3 beautiful colors – the classic black and white and the cute pink – pink is my favorite color. SWEETFULL Portable Neck Fan is compact with dimensions 8.6″D x 6″W x 1″H inches and weighs 10.4 ounces.

Extremely Quiet Operation

One of the reasons to pick the SWEETFUL Neck Fan is its quiet operation. According to the manufacturer, the noise emitted is less than 31 dB, which is impressive. It is achieved by using a built-in brushless motor.

Actually, the silent operation is at low speed. If you increase the speed, the noise becomes even quieter. But if you need a really quiet fan – for the office or for relaxing – SWEETFULL Neck Fan is the one.

3 Speeds Operation

SWEETFUL Portable Neck Fan is efficient as it comes with a new tech turb structure. On the picture below you can see how it looks like inside – the brushless motor (left), the turbine and the air inlets on both the sides – the inner and outer one.

The fan operates at 3 speeds and 360° cooling is enhanced by the many outlets that deliver fresh air towards the face and neck. You can easily switch between the 3 different modes to set the desired airflow for your personal comfort and adequate battery life.

The wind speed according to the device specification list is 2 m/s, which is not that powerful. Most of the competing devices produce a stronger wind (3–3.5 m/s). To select the desired speed, you just have to press the button on the right end of the bottom side.

Battery Life and Charging (Light Indicator)

The wearable fan is powered by a battery with a large capacity – 4000 mAh. Actually, it is two batteries with 2000 mAh each. According to the manufacturer, the battery life on a single charge should be from 4 to 16 hours, depending on the selected speed, but in reality it is two times less – up to 8 hours.

Charging is not as fast (10W – input 5V – 1A) as I would like – the charging time is up to 4 hours. There is a small light indicator next to the charging port so that you can know if the fan is still charging or fully charged.

Verdict

I recommend the fan to people who need a really quiet operation. The noise emitted at speed one is less than 31 dB but as the speed increases, the noise increases too.

It is good for any outdoor or indoor activity—cooking, camping, grilling, walking, running, exercising, driving, etc.
